Born in Portugal,
Ana Melikian almost had to repeat the 4th grade
because of her bad spelling.
Despite being diagnosed with dyslexia,
Ana earned two master’s degrees
and a Ph.D. in psychology.
She taught at universities in Portugal and Spain
and started several entrepreneurial initiatives.
Now living in the U.S.,
Ana is the MINDSET ZONE podcast host,
listed alongside “On Being”
by the Huffington Post as one of the
“15 Podcasts That Will Leave You Pondering Life’s Big Questions.”
Ana combines her expertise in psychology,
more than two decades of work in human potential, and her trademark loving optimism

Ana Melikian, Ph.D., teaches how positive psychology and personal awareness can help us to break through mindset limitations, upgrade our psychological operating system, and achieve more than we thought possible in our work and life.
For over a decade, Dr. Melikian has been a successful online business owner, working with hundreds of other coaches and consultants, helping a diverse group of companies and organizations.
Ana is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) and a proud member of the ICF – International Coach Federation and the ACEC – Association of Corporate Executive Coaches.
She is also the host of the MINDSET ZONE podcast, selected for The Huffington Post‘s “15 Podcasts That Will Leave You Pondering Life’s Big Questions,” listed alongside the Peabody Award-winning “On Being” and “TED Radio Hour” by NPR.
Before moving to the U.S., Ana Melikian obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Sunderland, UK, taught at several Universities in Portugal and Spain, and co-authored several articles and book chapters.
As a speaker, coach, and consultant, her focus is on applying psychological and social science insights for success and fulfillment to the power of being human.
